Pregnancy is a very momentous experience with many unique physical and emotional shifts. Here at Sprouting Trees Yoga we are dedicated to providing you a deeply enriching prenatal yoga experience designed to prepare you for your journey into childbirth and motherhood.
Studies have shown that prenatal yoga relieves discomfort, improves sleep, and reduces stress and anxiety associated with pregnancy and childbirth. We practice breathing techniques and dynamic yoga postures adapted to fit the needs of all stages of pregnancy. We focus on improving strength and flexibility to ease tension and practice mindfulness to help prepare for labor.
In prenatal yoga you will find time to slow down and connect with your precious baby/babies and your body tuning into each breath, each movement. A sense of community is established in class early on as you also connect with other women who are sharing in this experience with you.
No prior yoga experience is necessary to attend prenatal yoga and the classes are created to meet the needs of our students regardless of trimester.
